Fourteen things in WebGL
GPGPU flow fields, morphing particles, ocean and galaxy simulation. Live, not screenshots.
- pieces, all deployed
- 14pieces, all deployed
My part
Everything
Fourteen pieces, each one deployed and running rather than recorded. Flow fields driven on the GPU, particle systems that morph between shapes, an ocean, a galaxy, a portal, a haunted house, a hologram.
None of these solve a problem. That is the point of them. Shaders are the only place I write code where the goal is that something looks impossible, and the constraint is a frame budget of about sixteen milliseconds rather than a product requirement.
They came out of working through Bruno Simon's Three.js Journey end to end, and then not stopping when it finished.
The full set is in the gallery. The flow field is the one to look at first.
